Website Updates

(Return to Emporium)

Dec. 23rd: Already I've done as many updates in one month as I've done the whole rest of the year.  Yay me!

Okay, I lied about some stuff.  I said I'd have two new fanfic authors up today, but I only have one.   Sue me, I don't have any money anyway.  I've been really busy today, and I didn't have enough time to proofread two fanfics and upload them both to Tripod.   Unless you guys don't want the Christmas fic done by the 25th.

Sorry if I sound bitchy.   Last minute shopping & holiday blues will do that.

Anyway, check out BurkWorld's fic, The Forsaken in the others section.

On another note, I've uploaded revised versions of the New Millenium fics.  They're pretty much the same for the most part, but they're a lot more polished.  These are probably the first of several revisions I'll be doing to these fics.  I have no plans to revise The New Adventures since those fics are so bad I'd end up completely re-writing them, and I have no time to do that.  Anyway, check out the new versions of New Millenium.

They're in the my fics section, along with a little christmas present to all of you who still come to see me.  I'll be expecting "thank you" emails. ;)

Dec. 22nd: I realize I'm cutting things a bit short this year, and for that I apologize.

The holiday update will be made in segments this year.  Hopefully in a day or two I'll get the new fics up.   The Christmas fanfic is coming along, but I'm not sure if it'll be done before Christmas.  Hopefully I'll get it done and posted in a few days.

A couple words about this years Christmas Theme: I decided to use two this year, just cause I felt like it, and also as a half-assed way of making up for the lack of updates this year.  The first is called The Sleeping Sun, by an awesome Finnish melodic metal group called Nightwish.  Most of their stuff is availible in the US on Century Media, and I heartily recommend them to anyone interested in writing in the Fantasy genre.  Admittedly it's not a Christmas song, but it has an appropriate sound and feel for this time of year.

If you prefer a real Christmas song, check out Do They Know It's Christmas.  Originally recorded in 1984, the song was performed by Band-Aid, which included Sting, Phil Collins, U2, and some of the most popular artists of the UK at the time.  The song was recorded as charity single to ease the widespread famine in Ethiopia.

That's all for now.   See you in a few days, I hope.  Happy holidays everyone!  Go see Star Trek: Nemesis, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, & if you're serious writers, Adaptation.

Nov. 19th: Not an update per se, seeing as there's no new content, but I just wanted everyone to know that I am indeed alive.

Expect a real update, surprise surprise, either later this month or next.  I will be decorating the site for Christmas again, including the usual midi website theme.  I also recently recieved a couple new fanfics for the site, so I'll try to get that posted around then too.  Finally, and this is a VERY BIG MAYBE, but I've begun working on Christmas fanfic which I'll try to finish and put up then.  This will be a stand alone fanfic, not connected to New Millenium.  I can't say for sure if it'll be ready by then, but I'll do my best.

June 9th: Well, looks like I've really dropped the ball on this site.  I apologize for that, and I have no excuse except that, with everything else going on in my life, it's simply not a priority anymore.  I'd like to thank those people who have maintained an interest over the past few months, especially those who have expressed their support by signing my guest book.

Unfortunately, it seems that I am not going to be able to do much with this site anytime soon.  Although I have a little more time now that my spring semester of college is over, I simply do not have the level of enthusiasm for this webpage that I once did.  My other writing projects (original works, mostly) have left me with little time and inspiration for my Pizza Cat fics.  Additionally, I have not recieved any fanfic submissions for a long time (not sure how much of this is my fault for neglecting this page), and over all interest in this page seems to have dropped.

I am very sorry that it has come to this.  When I started this page, the last thing I wanted was to be someone who updated it only every couple of months and eventually abandon it, as many people with fansites seem to.  Unfortunately, I now understand how difficult it is, not only to keep a site updated regularly, but to retain a level of enthusiasm for something.  I hope to return to my Pizza Cat fics, and to this site, someday soon.   I have not completely abandoned Samurai Pizza Cats, I simply need to take a break before I lose my fandom.

If anyone still wants to send me something, be it fanfic, fanart, or anything else, feel free to do so at my new e-mail address GuidoCx19@hotmail.com, and I will do my best to post it on the site as quickly as possible.  Also, I'm going to try to do some minor updates over the next few months, although just what, if anything, remains to be seen.
